Best Movies to enjoy during 2018 (Vol.2)

What are the best movies to enjoy during 2018? Although we can enjoy lots of Superhero movies during this year, there are other fantastic titles out there too! Our list starts with Guillermo del Toro’s new film The Shape of Water. Although I’m not a fan of horror movies, Guillermo del Toro’s are just too beautiful to resist. And so, I’ll be hitting the cinema because of his new masterpiece. Take a look at the trailer; you’ll see that it promises a lot.
The next in line is Ghost Stories. Martin Freeman, our beloved Bilbo (and Watson), delivers the chills in this movie. It’s a little bit odd, and certainly not in my league, but I cannot resist this. These are spooky ghost stories for sure, but they seem too compelling as to let them pass by.
Han Solo standalone movie is going to be released on May, and yet we still have no teaser trailer. Even so, I’m in the mood to know more about Solo. Not all in Star Wars is amazing, and there are many mistakes along the way. However, I’m hopeful to see a good movie. So far, all the new films from the Star Wars franchise have been brilliant.

One of my favorite mangas, when I was growing up, was Battle Angel Alita. Guess what; the movie is around the corner! Alita: Battle Angel promises to be a blast. I just hope that it’s as good as the manga I loved when I was a teen. I highly recommend reading the manga. Battle Angel Alita [The Book Depository] [Waterstones] is worth it!
Jurassic World wasn’t exactly good, but it was entertaining. So, I’m thinking to give Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom a try. It has lots of dinosaurs, and Chris Pratt. I know that’s a very lame excuse, but I have no more reasons to watch it. Just entertainment for my eyes.
I’m also hopeful for Tomb Raider. I was a great fan when I was younger, and now I can’t ignore the fact that a new movie is out there. Even if it’s not that good, I’ll try to enjoy it. (Let’s be honest, the first film was just entertaining but not super.)
What about Ready Player One? It looks promising! It comes in March, and it seems that it might be quite entertaining too. Plus the visual effects just look great.
Mary Poppins Returns also looks appealing. If you like musicals, you might like the sequel that Disney has prepared for us. This time, Mary Poppins is Emily Blunt. I’m not a great fan of Mary Poppins, but I did see the movie a zillion times when I was a kid. So, I guess I’ll end up in the cinema for this one too.

Despite all the drama around Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindelwald and Johnny Depp, I’ll end up watching the movie in theaters. I loved Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, and although I don’t like Depp as one of the characters, I do like the story. So, I’ll give it a try.

What movies are you exited about watching during 2018 that aren’t Superhero movies? Let me know in comments.
