Funko Friday: Once Upon a Funko

Welcome to my first Funko Friday! Today we’re in a fairy tale mood. So let’s start with once upon a funko, there was a geek girl in love with her favorite mischievous character and needed something to stare at before going to sleep. If you’ve visited my blog, you already know who the mischievous character is, don’t you? Yes! It’s no other than Loki of Asgard!! [If not, who would it be? So, who is this pop that started it all? Which version of Funko Loki is responsible for me having 50+ pops? This is the little fellow:

Thor, the movie, started all this madness. Seriously. A simple question that I made to myself had mammoth consequences for me and the years to come. Not only I ended up creating an incredible research on Loki and Loki’s Army, but I also felt that I needed a tee, or a cup, or a pillow of Loki. But above all, I wanted a cute thing about Loki. I started to surf online, and I came up with Funko Pop figurines. And I felt in love with this tiny guy. I said to myself that this would be the only figurine [lier!]. However, Loki would be very sad alone, and he would need some friends. So, I bought a Khaleesi for him. (But, that’s another story for another time).

So yes, Loki made me do it. I am a Funko Pop collector because of Loki! I was supposed only to get this pop and then be happy ever after. But I decided that he deserved his beloved Army, and so, he is in the process to have it! And a huge one!
