Fandom Friday: 5 Favorite Fictional Teachers

This Fandom Friday is pretty cute. We have to list five of our favorite fictional teachers. And there are some cool ones out there! But I must admit that there is one in particular that I treasure the most. No spoilers at the moment, you will find him at the top of my list: number one! I’d wish I would have one of these as real teachers during school. However, I think some things would have been weird. Let’s start!

1. Professor X (the X-men)

The Principal of the school can be no other than Professor X! Charles Francis Xavier is my top choice as the top of tops. He is patient, a badass, and always know how to give you a good piece of advice. I know that he can read minds, but, that’s so cool!

2. Severus Snape (Harry Potter)

My fictional school needs some magic badassery! So, the magic teacher would be no other than precious Severus Snape. I know, I am biased here. But, hey! The guy was cool! Besides, he is in the same house as I am! 😉

3. Mr. Miyagi (Karate Kid)

80s kid! Okay, I need a martial arts teacher. And it has to be Mr. Miyagi!! Let’s start polishing cars and catching flies with chopsticks! Oh! This movie was so cool!

4. Johnny Castle (Dirty Dancing)

Yay! Come here naughty thoughts! I bet this teacher is cool during dancing classes. And also “the other dancing classes.” I know, I ended up on the naughty road again. Yeah, that’s me!

5. Sybill Trelawney (Harry Potter)

And since I like Tarot, I would also need a divination teacher! She was so cool! Plus, I love her geeky, quirky, messy, hippie style. (I have no clue how else to define it!)

Honorable and Naughty Mentions

History Teacher: Logan, aka Wolverine (the X-men) [Yup, he is the actual History teacher in Days of Future Past, so hush and stare at his torso…]

Music Teacher: Lagertha. I’m serious. She’ll teach you just the right note before you cut the heart out of your enemies.

Mechanics Teacher: Obi-Wan Kenobi. He’ll teach you all you need about Lightsabers.

Doomed Politics Teacher: Laura Roslin. It happened before, and you know it will happen again. So you better know how to lead your people to the next planet, because our machines are going to nuke ours. Sup.
