Funko Friday: Women of Power Funko Pops

This Funko Friday I want to start a Female Pop series. We start with Women of Power Funko Pops: Spider-Gwen, Thor and Squirrel Girl. Spider-Gwen is one of my favorite Marvel characters. No wonder, I have different versions of her: Unmasked and Hooded, Unmasked and Unhooded, and a small full dressed Spider-Gwen keychain. Thor is also a great character, and so is Squirrel Girl. All these Pops are amazing and have great quality.

Spider-Gwen is a strong young teen who lives in an alternate Universe, where she is the hero. Amazingly, Peter dies, and she is the one to have a great responsibility. Under the mask of Thor, we can find Jane Foster. She is sick, and despite that she still holds the hammer! And, finally, Squirrel Girl, one of the strongest characters in the Marvel Universe, a funny girl with great stories to tell.

These strong characters are great role models for us: strong, independent, resolute and pragmatic. They’re not perfect, of course. But, are humans perfect? Because they’re great mirrors in which to see ourselves, these Pops represent much more than stylish figurines. They tell us stories of growth, character development, and life.

Superhero comics might not be perfect, but some are worth reading because of the depth they hide. If you don’t know these fantastic characters, you can try to read the comics! Here you have a list:
