What I’m Watching: Darkness and Superheroes

It’s been a while, but I’d love to share with you what I’ve been watching lately. Mainly darkness and Superheroes on Netflix, but also some other shows. I know I’m pretty late with many of the shows that I’m currently watching but better late than never.

1. Daredevil (second season)

I loved the first season, but I didn’t watch the second season until last week. Yup, I’ve binge watched it in a two-week span window. It’s a masterpiece, just like the first season. I hope they decide to create a third season because it just rocks. Murdock is flawed; Elektra is intense, and a weapon and the Punisher is a broken man. There are new players in the scene, as the Hand. However, what I loved the most is how Murdock is trying to mix his Superhero life with his professional life. I wonder, will he make peace in the third season?

2. Gotham

I’m not a super fan of DC. However, I found Gotham on Netflix, and I decided to give it a go. And I’m glad I did it because I love the first season! It’s funny to know how Enigma is working for the police department, and what a pain in the ass the Penguin is. Cat Woman is also around! So far, I love it. I hope it continues as good as it is. (I’m approaching the middle season).

3. Orange is the New Black

Every night I have dinner and watch one episode of Orange is the New Black. And I confess, sometimes, I watch two of them. I gave it a go, and I love it! It’s brilliant! This is the wittiest, funniest, more dramatic soap opera that I’ve seen in ages. I’m usually not a fan of similar shows, but I loved this one. But I must admit that the pilot episode was quite lame. So yup, let’s watch the ladies dance!

4. Once Upon a Time

Okay, I’m guilty. But I need the pirate in my life! I started back in season 1 again, and I arrived at the handsome Killian Jones, aka Hook. Let’s say I want to write something on this blog about OUAT and pretend that I’m not watching the show because of Captain Swan. Yup, just let’s pretend.
